Imagine Canada Standards are designed to build excellence within Canada’s charities and nonprofits through common standards of practice and to strengthen confidence in the sector.
The standards cover five fundamental areas: board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management, and volunteer involvement.
Accreditation is achieved when a panel of volunteer peer reviewers from within the sector examines the policies and procedures provided by organizations in their applications and determines that they are in compliance with the 73 standards.
Note!
If your organization was originally accredited before 2022, your older applications and compliance reports are available on our previous application platform.
If you have not yet submitted your reaccreditation application on the new platform, any compliance reports you are required to submit can be found on the previous platform.
